Warrington Home Gets the Luxaflex Treatment
Mirmac Shutters and Blinds has just completed a Warrington blinds installation for a new customer.
The client was familiar with Luxaflex and their flagship Shades products and was looking to combine different ranges throughout their home.
As Warrington’s only Luxaflex Inspiration dealer, the client was able to see the stunning Pirouette®, Silhouette®, and Duette® Shades ranges in operation at their impressive showroom. Also on display was the new for 2020 aluminium venetian blinds range and the contemporary Twist® roller blinds.
The Versality of Luxaflex Duette® Shades
Clever Top Down Bottom Up Design
For the bedrooms, the customer opted for the ingenious Duette® Shades product, with its clever approach to privacy control.
The top down, bottom up feature means that when the blinds are completely closed, they can be partially or fully opened from either the top down, or the bottom up.
With the bedrooms positioned to catch the early morning sun, the Duette® could be partially opened to block out the sun’s rays whilst letting a degree of light into the room. In addition, it also meant family members could retain a degree of privacy for getting changed, without having to fully close the blinds. Our image to the left shows the Duette® Shades blind in one of the bedrooms in various configurations.
Bright and Bold Bathroom Blinds
For the bathroom, the customer stayed with Duette® Shades. Rather than go for a soft, neutral colour, they selected a bold, royal blue finish. For simple, ease of use, the Luxaflex Cordless LiteRise® operating system was specified.
Duette® Shades is a perfect choice for bathrooms as it reduces heat loss by up to 49% in winter, whilst leaving the room cool during the summer months.
Silhouette® Shades for the Lounge
Luminous Floating Vanes
For the customer’s lounge, they wanted a solution where the blind could stay down and the blind’s louvres or vanes could be opened or closed. The Luxaflex Silhouette® Shades was the ideal choice. This clever design enables harsh sunlight to be diffused and softened, giving a unique, luminous floating effect.
Twist® Blinds For Kitchen/Diner
The customer wanted something different for the kitchen diner to the rear of the property. There was a set of french doors leading out to the rear garden and patio, with windows either side.
We selected Twist® roller blinds for the side windows. Luxaflex’s innovative take on the humble roller blind, combines their ClearView™ fabric with solid fabrics in a striped pattern that twists to form a solid, clear or partial view, depending on your mood.
For the french doors, we specified the Luxaflex Duette® Shades once again, in a colourway that complemented the Twist® fabric.
